Why should I do if my 2 yr old son just chipped a peice of his front tooth off in the bath tub?

hes fine now but has said twice ';hurts';Why should I do if my 2 yr old son just chipped a peice of his front tooth off in the bath tub?
Take to the dentist, if the nerve is exposed the little guy will be in pain. If the nerve is not exposed the tooth could die in the next few weeks, you'll need to keep an eye on the gum line above the tooth for a few months.

Kids should be seen by a dentist as soon as the first four teeth are present. this visit is for the parents as much as for the kids.

contact your dentist. the tooth might irritate or cut his tongue. if you kept the chip, he may can glue it back on for looks. otherwise, he'll get new ones later in life.
Take him to the dentist, he could have caused trauma to the nerves and they need to take an xray to make sure it is ok. They wont ';glue'; the chipped portion back on but if you want they will build the tooth back up with a tooth colored material.
Well, as a parent, why are you on Yahoo Answers when your baby is asking for help? I would think that you would be comforting the child and seeking MEDICAL advice, not Yahoo Answer advice. It makes sense that this is not a forum that can be the best answer. Sometimes we need to take a look at our priorities.
See a dentist. It does not need to decay before permanent one comes in. They can apply a sealant.
first teach him how to talk. Second use white soap to fill it in but make sure it forms to look like his teeth. (Saves you mucho mulah)
depends on the size of the piece. if its a large enough portion it can be glued back on with dental glue. wrap it it gauze and soak it in milk until you can get to the dentist in the morning.
Ahh, It probably does hurt.

I would treat it just like you would if he bumped his head hard. Watch him closely especially if he hit hard enough to actually chip a tooth. Feel and make sure its not loose.

His mouth is going to be sore for awhile, probably.
wait until it falls out. hell get a new one!
make sure the nerves are not exposed. You can test this by putting cold water in his mouth, If he says it hurts you should take him to the dr asap because there could be exposed nerves.
